Filipino American History Month – Filipino American History Month, also called Filipino American Heritage Month, is celebrated in the United States during the month of October. The Filipino American National Historical Society created Filipino American History Month in the year 1988. Filipino American History Month is widely celebrated in California and Hawaii, as it is also officially recognized by the California Department of Education.
Women's History Month – Women's History Month is an annual announced month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. It is celebrated during March in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, corresponding with International Women's Day on March 8, and during October in Canada, corresponding with the celebration of Persons Day on October 18.
LGBT History Month – LGBT History Month is a month-long annual observance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender history, and the history of the gay rights and related civil rights movements. It is observed during October in the United States, to include National Coming Out Day on October 11. In the United Kingdom, it is observed during February, to coincide with a major celebration of the 2003 abolition of Section 28.
